Do you do full bathroom remodels or just cosmetic updates?
Both. We do full bathroom remodeling that changes the layout, converts a tub to a walk in shower, and rebuilds the plumbing under the room, and we also handle lighter cosmetic updates that swap tile, vanity, and fixtures over the existing footprint. We tell you which one fits your bath.
Can you convert a tub to a walk in shower?
Yes. A walk in shower conversion is one of the most common master bath moves we handle. It usually calls for a new shower pan, a properly waterproofed wall system, a linear or center drain, and sometimes a low or no threshold curb for an aging in place design. We handle all of it.
Do you do master bathroom remodels?
Yes. A master bathroom remodel usually means a bigger shower, a double vanity, better lighting, better ventilation, and a floor that reads as one plane rather than a small tile grid. We plan those pieces together so the master reads as one designed room rather than shopped items.
How do you waterproof a shower correctly?
The standard is a waterproofing membrane, sheet or liquid applied, over the backer board and around all fixture penetrations, before any tile goes on. The shower pan gets a proper slope, a bonded pan liner, and the drain integrated into the membrane. Then thinset, tile, and grout. That order is what keeps water out of your framing.
Do you install the bathroom vanity too?
Yes. Bathroom vanity installation is part of the standard scope. We handle the plumbing supply and drain, the mounting, the countertop, the sink, and the faucet, plus the outlets and lighting above the vanity if the electrical is part of your remodel.
Bathtub replacement, is that a whole day thing?
A straight bathtub replacement where the plumbing stays put is usually one to two days plus the wall tile if we are replacing that too. A move to a walk in shower with new tile is a longer project because the whole wet wall gets rebuilt.
What tile lasts longest in a bathroom?
Porcelain and glazed ceramic are the most durable choices for wet areas and are easy to clean. Natural stone is beautiful but needs sealing. Large format tile reads modern and reduces grout lines. We walk you through the trade offs so the tile fits how you actually use the bath.
What flooring works best in a bathroom?
Bathroom flooring installation in porcelain tile is the long game answer. Luxury vinyl plank rated for wet areas is a lighter budget option that reads warm underfoot. We do not recommend real hardwood in a full bath, because a leak or a splash is a matter of when, not if.
How long does a bathroom remodel take?
A guest bath refresh commonly runs two to three weeks. A full master bathroom remodel with a walk in shower conversion and layout changes often runs four to five weeks. We give you a realistic schedule with the written quote.
Do we need a permit for a bathroom remodel?
A cosmetic refresh usually does not. Moving plumbing, moving the shower or tub, adding a fan where none existed, or moving electrical often does. We tell you plainly and handle the permit when the work needs it.
How much does a bathroom remodel cost?
Cost is driven by the size of the bath, whether the plumbing moves, tile square footage, the vanity, and the fixture level you pick. A guest bath refresh and a full master bathroom remodel are very different projects. We price against a specific written scope.
