Why we started Real Deal Builders

The problem we kept seeing

Almost everyone has a contractor story, and it is rarely a good one. A price that moved after demolition started. A crew that vanished for two weeks. A scope nobody wrote down, so every disagreement became one person's word against another's. None of that comes from bad tradespeople. It comes from projects that were never scoped honestly in the first place.

We started Real Deal Builders to be the company people call back, and to be the one they hand to a neighbor. That only works if the number we say at the start is the number at the end.

How that shows up on your job

It shows up as a detailed written scope before anyone swings a hammer, so you know exactly what you are buying. It shows up as one point of contact who knows the whole plan, instead of you chasing four subcontractors. It shows up when we find something behind a wall and stop, show you, and price the fix before we close it up rather than after.

And it shows up in the parts nobody photographs: the waterproofing under the tile, the flashing around the window, the compacted base under the concrete. Those are the things that decide whether the work is still good in ten years.

Licensed, bonded, and insured

Real Deal Builders Inc holds California contractor license number 1130858, active and in good standing with the Contractors State License Board, and we are bonded and insured for both residential and commercial work. You can verify that license directly on the CSLB website, and you should do the same for any contractor you are considering. A contractor who hesitates at that question has told you something important.

The license is a Class B, General Building classification, which is the general contractor license that covers whole projects involving multiple trades rather than a single specialty. We carry a contractor bond and workers compensation coverage through the State Compensation Insurance Fund, both current. Checking a license takes about a minute and it is the single easiest way to avoid the kind of contractor story everybody seems to have.

What we build

Kitchens and bathrooms are the core of the business, and they are what we are best known for. Around that we handle home additions and ADUs, garage conversions, whole home renovations, tile, flooring, painting, windows and doors, concrete and hardscape, landscape, and drywall. On the commercial side we take on build outs, tenant improvements, and repairs for local business owners. It is the same team and the same standard either way.

Where we work

Our base is in Valencia, which puts the whole Santa Clarita Valley within a short drive and the San Fernando Valley just over the pass. We work regularly across both, and reach into the Antelope Valley, the Conejo Valley, and Ventura County as the schedule allows. Being close to the work matters more than people expect. It means crews arrive early, days on site stay full, and if something needs attention after the job is done, we are not driving in from another county.

More than fifteen years. That experience is the reason we can price a job honestly up front, because we have seen what tends to hide behind walls in homes of every age in this region.

Are you licensed, bonded, and insured?

Yes, all three, for residential and commercial work. Our California contractor license number is 1130858, active with the Contractors State License Board, and you can verify it yourself on the CSLB website at cslb.ca.gov. We provide current insurance certificates on request.
